1. Data controller

2. Data we process

Depending on the features used, Qonouut may process:

• your email address, account identifier and chosen name;
• your language, time zone, welcome preferences and notification settings;
• favorites, saved texts, tasbih counters, journeys and confirmations that you choose to save;
• technical information needed for operation, security and error diagnosis;
• subscription and restoration information provided by Apple or Google;
• messages entered in an optional intelligent assistance feature, only when you activate it.

Qonouut is not a medical, psychiatric, legal or fatwa diagnostic tool. Do not enter medical data or information about another person in a free-text field.

3. Purposes

Data is used to create and secure your account, synchronize your private space, display the favorites and progress you request, provide enabled notifications, manage subscriptions, prevent abuse, fix errors and respond to support requests.

Religious, psychological and spiritual content is provided as general guidance. It does not replace a healthcare professional, a person qualified in religious sciences or emergency services.

4. Providers

Depending on the features enabled, Qonouut uses:

• Supabase for authentication, the database and secure storage;
• Apple and Google for payments and in-app subscriptions;
• an SMTP provider chosen by the publisher to send confirmation and recovery emails;
• OpenAI only for the optional feature explicitly identified as such, if it is enabled. Secret keys are never placed in the mobile app.

These providers may process data in other countries. The publisher implements the safeguards required by applicable law and publishes important subprocessors when they change.

5. Legal bases and choices

Depending on the situation, processing is based on performance of the requested service, consent for optional features, legal obligations, or the legitimate interest of security and abuse prevention. Notifications, intelligent assistance and synchronization can be disabled in the app.

6. Retention

Account data is kept while you use the account. Technical logs are kept only for the time strictly necessary for security and diagnosis. After account deletion, personal data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period, unless a legal obligation or need for evidence requires otherwise.

7. Your rights

Depending on your country, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent. Write to qonouut@outlook.com. You may also contact the data protection authority competent in your country.

8. Security

Private access is protected by authentication, Supabase RLS policies and encrypted communications. No system can guarantee absolute security: choose a unique password and never share your codes.

9. Children

Qonouut is not intended for children below the minimum age set by applicable law. If you believe an account was created by a child, contact us.

10. Changes

The update date will be changed when there is an important modification. When required by law, information will be displayed in the app or sent by email.
